Supporting Evidence-Based Conversations Around Sexual Health and Wellness

Surabaya, Indonesia - Laciasmara proudly participated in SIMNAS ASI 2023 (Simposium Nasional Asosiasi Seksologi Indonesia) held on 14- 15 October 2023 at Harris Hotel & Conventions Surabaya. Carrying the theme “Evidence-Based Approach in Management of Sexual Problems”, the symposium gathered sexologists, andrologists, psychologists, healthcare professionals, and medical practitioners from across Indonesia to discuss the latest scientific developments in sexual medicine and reproductive health.

The symposium addressed a wide range of topics including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, female sexual dysfunction, vaginismus, hormone therapy, transgender psychological aspects, regenerative medicine, and the impact of modern lifestyle and medication on sexual function. Speakers included prominent Indonesian sexual health experts such as prof dr Wimpie Pangkahila and psychologist Zoya Amirin.

Laciasmara’s participation reflected the increasing collaboration between healthcare professionals and intimate wellness platforms in promoting healthier, science-based, and stigma-free conversations around sexuality in Indonesia.

At the event, Laciasmara introduced an intimate wellness showcase featuring curated products from international brands including Otouch, System Jo, Dorcel, kGoal, G Menstrual Cup and Tickler. The booth also presented wellness-support products such as masturbator for male, vaginal dilators commonly used in vaginismus therapy, alongside penis pumps designed to support men experiencing erectile difficulties and sexual confidence concerns.
